THE IMPORTANCE OF AUDITS AND CONTROLS FOR RESAPLAST

29 September 2024

At Resaplast, we operate in full compliance with the highest quality standards, subjecting our polypropylene packaging to constant audits and controls.

Our Quality System is based on two types of controls:

  • External audits
  • Internal audits

External audits involve inspections conducted by third-party certification bodies, responsible for verifying and maintaining the certifications of conformity that we have obtained.

On the other hand, internal audits are regularly scheduled by the company to ensure that internal processes and products align with predefined standards. These internal audits, conducted on a monthly or annual basis, aim to identify and correct any deviations throughout the various stages of production.

This commitment reflects our belief that investing in the quality of our packaging is key to enhancing our credibility in the market and strengthening our customers’ trust.

At Resaplast, quality is the outcome of constant corporate dedication.

In our production of polypropylene containers, we follow rigorous processes that include both internal and external testing.

Our internal control system relies on highly qualified personnel who carry out meticulous inspections to verify the conformity of each individual piece. Additionally, internal tests focus on aspects such as product stability, resistance, functionality, and versatility. At the same time, we regularly monitor the raw materials we use—an essential prerequisite for packaging quality. Our controls extend to the storage phase too, where we check the state of maintenance of our containers, while a dedicated team ensures the calibration of tools and machinery.

All of this allows us to guarantee that all Resaplast packaging meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

In addition to internal controls, we regularly undergo external audits conducted by independent certification bodies to maintain compliance with international food safety standards.

Certifications such as UNI ISO 9001:2015, the BRC certification, and the MOCA Declaration of Conformity are the foremost guarantees of quality for our plastic containers and serve as our calling card for the international market.

External audits and inspections focus on key aspects of our production, including:

  • Laboratory testing and analysis for food contact compliance
  • Cleanliness of production environments
  • Monitoring of molding processes
  • Product inspection and detection of foreign objects

At the conclusion of these audits, the certifying body issues a certificate that attests to the quality of our products and their compliance with international regulations. These certifications have a defined validity period and must be renewed periodically—a commitment that Resaplast constantly honors.

In an increasingly regulated and demanding market, we at Resaplast have chosen to prioritize quality and transparency.

In this context, internal and external audits are our opportunity for continuous improvement.

Thanks to a structured system of testing and controls, we can offer our customers polypropylene packaging that meets the most stringent food safety requirements.

At Resaplast, quality is not a coincidence—it is the result of a commitment built step by step, audit by audit.
